Ftens is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that enables professional photographers and studios to create, manage, and share photo galleries securely.

  • IP addresses and approximate geolocation
  • Browser and device information
  • Pages visited and time spent on the platform

3.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • Session cookies for authentication
  • User preference cookies
  • Analytics and performance cookies (we do not sell data to third parties for advertising)
  • Security and CSRF tokens

3.5 Paid gallery purchases (visitors / buyers)

If you buy photos in a photographer’s paid gallery on Ftens, you do not need a Ftens account. We may process:

  • Your email address (download access, purchase confirmation, restore access).
  • Order data: gallery, selected photos, amount, currency, payment status, Stripe identifiers (checkout session, payment intent).
  • Access tokens (hashed) and session cookies to allow watermark-free downloads on your device.
  • IP address and minimal technical data linked to checkout and downloads (security and rate limits).

The photographer supplies the images and handles content-related claims. Ftens provides the platform and payment technology (Stripe Connect). See also our Photo purchase terms.

4. How We Use Your Information

4.1 Service Delivery

  • Create and manage your user account
  • Enable uploading, storage, and management of images
  • Generate access URLs for public and private galleries
  • Process images
  • Facilitate image downloads
  • Provide statistics for your galleries
  • Operate paid gallery sales: checkout, confirmation emails, download access, and order visibility for the photographer

5. Storage and Security

5.1 Storage Infrastructure

We use a platform for the secure storage of your images. This platform meets international security standards including ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and GDPR compliance certifications.

  • Security monitoring and intrusion detection

5.3 Data Access

Access to your data is limited to authorized personnel who need it to provide, maintain, or improve our services. Your data is fully private and is not shared with third parties.

6. Information Sharing

6.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.

6.2 Service Providers

We share information with trusted service providers that help us operate the platform:

  • Stripe: Ftens subscription billing, Stripe Connect for photo sale payouts to photographers, and payment compliance. Stripe processes data under its own privacy policy.
  • Resend (or similar transactional email provider): Purchase confirmation and service emails.

We do not sell buyers’ emails to third parties for marketing.

6.3 Public, private, and paid galleries

Images in galleries marked as "public" may be viewed by anyone who has the link. Private galleries require a password. On paid galleries, previews are watermarked; watermark-free files are available only after purchase via access provided by the platform.

6.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ftens, our users, or the public.

7. Your Rights

7.1 Access and Control

  • Access: You can access your personal information from your dashboard
  • Rectification: You can update your information in your account settings
  • Deletion: You can delete images, galleries, and your account
  • Restriction: You can control the visibility of your galleries

7.2 Cookie Management

You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings. However, disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality.

7.3 Exercising Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@ftens.com. We will respond to your request within a maximum of 30 days.

8. Data Retention

8.1 Storage Duration

  • Active images: For as long as you maintain an active account
  • Account data: Until you request deletion
  • Activity logs: Maximum of 12 months
  • Billing data: As required by applicable tax laws
  • Paid gallery orders and related logs: As long as needed for access management, disputes, platform accounting, and legal obligations (often several years for accounting data where applicable)
  • Backups: Maximum of 90 days after deletion

8.2 Account Deletion

When you delete your account, we will securely delete your personal data and images. This process may take up to 30 days to complete fully across all our systems and backups.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We use AWS, which operates globally certified data centers, and we ensure that all transfers comply with international data protection standards.

10. Minors

Our service is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we discover that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a prominent notice on the platform. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
